Recently, college’s 2021-grade graduate students have completed the enrollment. Based on the unified arrangement of TYUT and practical situation of college, since Sep. 16th, our college carried out a series of new students’ entrance education activities to help new students adapt to the new studying environment as soon as possible and build correct learning goals.
Under the guide and requirement of regular epidemic prevention and control, the entrance education activities were carried out in a main hall and a branch hall. All new students were required to wear masks and sit apart to implement epidemic prevention works.
Zhou Wei, secretary of the College Party Committee of CPC, and five other leaders and teachers made special lecture series for new students. The lectures covered 6 topics to guide students to understand the spirit and culture of our university, build valuable life ideal, and adapt to the new study and research environment as soon as possible. The topics were Ideal Faith and School-loving Education, Frontier Disciplines and Professional Education, Scientific Ethics and Academic Norms Education, Epidemic Prevention and Safety Education, Behavioral Norms and Affairs Handling Procedure Education, and Psychological Health education.
The new students’ entrance education activities will also be held in forms of institute meeting, class meeting, basketball game, et al. The orderly implementation of entrance education activities will guide more than 170 new graduate students to establish a more comprehensive understanding of entire learning, education and education process, form a clearer plan for their future development, and lay a solid foundation for adapting to graduate life and completing their studies successfully.
