In order to further strengthen the mental health education work of our institute and cultivate and build a more professional team of psychological committee members, on November 2, 6:30 PM, the 2021 autumn semester psychological committee training meeting was held in the conference room on the fifth floor of  Erudite Hall, and all psychological committee members participated in the training meeting. The meeting was presided over by Xiumei Chen, psychological commissioner of the Student Affairs Office.

At the meeting, Miss Chen firstly introduced the purpose of the meeting, as well as the planning and requirements in students' mental health education. Secondly, detailed arrangements will be made for the assessment of college students' mental health in the semester. All classes are required to organize a centralized assessment, and students are not allowed to assess themselves. At the same time, students should be reminded to answer the questions carefully and truthfully according to their actual situation. In addition, Miss Chen emphasized the importance of psychological crisis investigation and prevention, and introduced login and other specific operation steps of TYUT mental health education information management platform on the site, laying a good foundation for the psychological investigation and reporting work of the psychological committee in the future.

Finally, Miss Chen introduced the current construction of the Student Mental Health Guidance Center in Yingxi Campus, encouraged the psychological committee members of each class to experience psychological equipment such as music relaxation and VR decompression at the center open day every Saturday and Sunday, actively organized and carried out relevant psychological activities in institute and universities, enhanced the sense of mission of the psychological committee members, and deeply realized the importance of mental health education.

Through this training, the psychological committee members of each class further clarified the importance of their own responsibilities, pointed out the direction for the future psychology work of the class, effectively strengthened the work ability and professional quality of our psychological committee team, and laid a foundation for the mental health education work of the whole institute.
